So this Shaker sound system in my 2014 is pretty good. Not the best, but I dig it. Anyway, I've got a ton of music on my computer and I've downloaded a lot of it to a flash drive to access. It works - sometimes. What do you guys use? CDs? Ipods? Pandora? Thanks in advance!

CDs. Mostly because I've got a pretty big library of them, but partly because popping anywhere from one to six in the box before I go off on a trip is about as easy, non-demanding of further attention and non-distracting as it gets. For those 5 - 10 minute trips around town I don't even bother with CDs.

My entire collection is on iTunes Match. My iPhone connects to the audio system via blue tooth and I can stream whatever I want. The caveat is, one must have cell signal.

I have my entire music collection on my iPod classic. No cell signal needed. Goes to my aftermarket headunit while the iPod sits quietly in the glovebox, never a reason to take it out since the headunit controls the music. I tried using the iPod with the Shaker 500 headunit but when you have over 10,000 songs and can only scroll one at a time. No thanks. That is why i got my Pioneer.

I use my iphone 6s in my 12' with a graphic equalizer app called EQu. Other than the frequent issues with SYNC, it works pretty good.
