Default ACM unit question

So I found out today that I need a new acm unit and those suckers aren't cheap. I figured I'd take a shot at trying to find one in a junk car but it's hard to find a 2010 mustang in a junk yard apparently. So my question is the ACM unit in my mustang unique to that car or is there any other Ford car that has the same type of ACM unit that I could try looking for? Thanks for any help provided!

ACM? I'm not familiar with that acronym.

Have you tried car-part.com for a search?

the ACM (audio control module) may cross to another model, but i doubt it, and there may be multiple different acm part numbers for your 2010 mustang depending on the trim level and options. they also have to be programmed when replaced if i remember correctly. your best bet is to pull the trigger on a new unit.
