Check the front sway bar bushing brackets. Mine were just a little bit loose and the noise was unbearable. Torqued them down and noise went away.

I went to replace the bushings when I replaced my endlinks. But RockAuto sent me the rears instead of the fronts. No big deal, but I didn't realize until the bar was off. I put a little grease on the inside of the bushing and put them back on. Tightened the brackets down as much as I could. It is discouraging to how difficult this is to locate.

I noticed that the clunk really reveals itself when I hit a bump or pot hole on one side. For example, if the right wheel hits a manhole cover and the left doesn't, the sound is very noticeable (or vice versa, left and right). But if I go over a speed bump, I don't really hear it. Suggestions? The sway bar is the only think I can think of that is connected to both sides.

disconect the endlinks from the shocks and see if the noise goes away. Just make sure you don't leave it hanging. Tie it down

You likely need to torque the bolts to spec, adn if you didn't use locktite (blue) on the suspension parts you should do that now. Suspension components almost always need to be retorqued about a week after installing them.

Took your advice. I disconnected them and ziptied them up to some cabling that is connected to car. I figure if they are only connected to the sway bar, and the sway bar is not connected (since the endlinks were disconnected) there would just be some rattle movement.

And creaks and clunks went away. So the endlinks must have gone bad and/or the sway-car is bad. Now sure how that would be, its just a bar.

Is it ok to drive a week or so two with the endlinks removed while I wait for new endlinks to ship?

Thanks.
