Maybe its a Lemon? I dont Know *RANT*
Ugh, First of let me say I love my car in every way possible, and have great plans for moding it, but today ahhh the problems!!!
First off, I've been noticing around 1500rpms and up the car has a steady metal chirping noise coming from what is either the dash or the tachometer. What is causing this?! Is it cuase its cold or what?
Also today, My subs in the front, both sound ****ty and have a rattle noise coming from them. I never play my music more than about 4 bars, and my bass is sually set at 2 from the top, treb at all the way up, What is up with that?!
Another thing, my Shakker 500 became a Skipper 500 completly today, it skipped and spit out so many cds its ridiculous. I'm so disapointed i could spit.
Will the dealer cover these thigns since the cars under warranty or what? I'm taking it in over the weekend. Ugh!

Should take care of it.
only 700 miles on mine, and i hear that bezel noise, or vibration, in dash or wherever its coming from, very slight. Have seen others mention that also.
I believe there is a TSB on the skipper, not sure.
Should be able to replace subs I would think under warranty,

to be a lemon it has to be a major mechanical safety related issue, and it has to happen 4 times within the first 15 months or 15K miles or if the dealer has it in their possession trying to fix such an issue for 30 consecutive days (or at least that's what is considered a lemon in the state of Maryland).

Yeah, each states law is different. My dad bought a 92 tbird from ford that ford had to buy back from the customer under lemon law. It was for a water leak that they couldnt fix. Needless to say he fixed it. and got a hellouva deal on the car

Don't know about the Shaker problem, but I had a chirping dash on my '06. This is a known problem with the clips used to hold the dash panels. Your dealer should be aware of this and there is a fix for it. Involves replacing some clips and adding some insulation.
