Default B1353 code

getting ready to buy a 08 gt. Scanned the car just to see if there were any history codes and I got b1353 ignition key circuit open. Anyone have any experience with this? Common issues? I know it’s a history code but just curious at this point. Not getting any info when I search it. Just trying to see what would cause it

Broken wire, detached connector at ignition switch, defective lock cylinder, blown fuse.

take a look at the passenger floor area. peel up the carpet and see if there is any indication that water has gotten in. I would also take the car to a mechanic that you trust and take a look at the "Smart Junction Box". it is behind the passenger side kick panel. check to see if there is traces of water or corrosion on any of the connectors. 1 10mm bolt holds it to the car. it may be nothing or it may be a sign that water has leaked in over time and caused some electrical issues. not trying to scare you but that is one of the biggest issues with these S197 cars. good luck
