What do u guys think?
Here on Long island ive been waiting for my stang since june 7th, adn still no car, and they charged me above sticker.. I found one down in south carolina for 27910.. im trying to get like a 1000-1500 off do u guys think i should go get it? Its a red gt 06 manal with IUP
Go for it. I had an order with a dealer in Stamford, from June 6, I endend up getting the exact car in Georgia, a little road trip, but I have the car over a month now LOVE it, and still not a peep from the dealer in Stamford.
I doubt it, maybe if you were paying cash. They will have no problem selling that car for MSRP of higher. Theres no reason for them to knock $1000 or $1500 unless it s a lump sum. If you were waiting since June, you are not alone in your waiting. Supply an demand just doesn't work like that. If you could find a '05 you'd have a better chance... but finding a '05 is about as good as a chance in some areas as getting $1000 to $1500 knocked off. If your travling that distance for the car? they will see you coming
Get them to pay for the airfair for you to fly in so you can drive it home

I'd say if it's the exact car you want go for it. My dealer on LI couldn't get me my car either and I found my exact car on Ebay at adaler in Kansas. It was in my driveway in a week delivered in covered trailer!!!

I'm in LI also and I walked out of 6 dealerships before I found one that would order a car for me at MSRP. I ordered a Torch red GT convertible with every option available (except for the shaker 1000) from Able Ford On April 9th and received it July 28th.
