Hi so my stang is vapor silver (09 GT) and I just ordered a hood scoop that I'm going to install but I want to color match it with the car. I know you can by vapor silver paint but it's about $35 a can. Do you guys know of any other cheaper paints that will match like any duplicolor, rustoleum, etc. Or anything else you guys know of. Thanks for any help.

 

No, you can't to a store and buy the paint... You can go to a body shop and
have them mix you a bigger can, but then you need a sprayer...

You can check Auto Zone, Advance Auto, Pep Boys, see if they have that paint code
in stock. They all stock some car colors, but never the one you want... You won't be
getting it at Walmart, Lowes, or anywhere else as such...
