Whining noise

Default Whining noise

I’ve been hearing this whining noise from the front end of my car it is a manual if I’m clutched in or out the noise is still there at the same pitch when I accelerate it gets a little bit louder

Does the whine change in pitch or intensity if you make a left or right turn?

possible idler pulley, other pulley or belt

Could be a number of things. Idler pulley, tensioner pulley, alternator, power steering pump (unless you have EPAS)..etc.

That points to the culprit being worn bearings in one of the belt driven pulleys. Remove the drivebelt and manually spin each pulley (idler, tensioner, alternator, water pump, AC, PS pump) to see which one makes a whine or grinding sound.
