RE: XM Radio / Ipod input adapter found 4 shaker 500
How do you remove the radio? Other Fords have a strange u-shaped tool that is used to pop the unit loose. I have looked at the Shaker and noticed these 4 little holes are not present in order to use the standard u-tool. Any help would be appreciated.

PW, I thought the correct tools would be a pair of plyers and or a hammer. I don't have one of those tools you suggested. I guess I'll buy one for my tool box.
"If it can't be fixed with a hammer, it aint worth fixing" Always did love this quote.

I just wanted to pass on, the unit mentioned above works great! It provides a line-level input, so the sound quality is amazing! I installed this with an XM MIFI, and couldn't be happier. Since the Mifi has the same connector as the iPod, they can be easily interchanged.

BTW: When you press the AUX button, what is displayed on the radio?

PIE = Peripheral Input Extension
PIE = Peripheral Input Extension
Precision Interface Electronics ( tha manufacturer pie.net )
It adds RCA inputs to the rear of the head unit, in a nutshell.
Im sure you can plug in anything that you can connect to RCA inputs. Ipods wihjt the 3.5MM to rca adapter, satellite radios, you name it.
