Exclamation Is my transmission dead?

Just changed my transmission fluid in my:
- 2013 3.7L V6 Mustang, automatic
- 94k miles
Recommended is 90k miles but I overshoot 4k miles.

Based on the photo, would you consider the transmission dead?
I had some rare/intermittent issue where it would not accelerate after red light.
Engine still running tho, rpm would rev but no acceleration no engine light.

Took it to mechanic, and said they didn't encounter anything wrong
after test driving. The car had gas smells before so It's fuel pump was recently changed
so I thought the no power was due to fuel pump/lines.

Drove it yesterday for like 15mins and no issue... yet. It's my first car that I love dearly,
and I want to save it.

You may have underfilled the fluid, your description of the symptoms is typical for a low fluid issue.

Thank you for the reply.
The mechanic said they checked the fluid and it's good.
But I'll double check again just in case.

Fluid level should be checked with the engine running and the trans in Park. The car must be level. Or you'll get a bad reading.
