Default Passenger mirror

2010 mustang....right side mirror "fell off", hanging .....appears to have come "unglued" from mounting. Is this a familiar issue to anyone? How to fix?

I haven't heard of this happening. What part of the mirror came off, the "glass" itself?

The mirror is bolted in place as I recall from replacing them on my S197 so it sounds like it broke - maybe someone hit it? Do you have a picture?

I may have a passenger side mirror in my "parts bin" still.

It looks like the mount broke, not glued but it is bolted to the part that is attached to the door still. The plate on the mirror you can see one of the tabs that goes through to line it up and you can see the holes that the bolts go through. As I recall it is three bolts.. You have to take it off inside to get to the bolts that hold it in place. Something had to hit the mirror to break it.

Finally ....the mirror is connected to "mount" with 2 PLASTIC RIVETS!!!!! Wifes coat caught on mirror and tugged it enough to break these "rivets".
