What are the difference between the SVT Cobra, GT500 and Saleen ... ?

 

svt cobra and gt500 are the same thing
the saleen is different mainly because it is not produced by ford

there are also some spec differences, one of the major ones is that the cobra will have a s/c 5.4l engine, while the saleen will have only the 4.7l engine (s/c tho)

also, of cource, the saleen is released and the cobra is not

 

when is the new cobra gonna be released and what's the price range on it...? What's the price on the Saleen?

 

they are prolly both around $45k, Shelby GT500 will be outlate next year I think. Also, the GT500 technically is not a Cobra. The Cobra was a SVT (Special Vehicles Team) thing which Carrol Shelby did not have his hands in. He is a big part of the upcoming Shelby GT500, hence the name.

From what I have been reading on the pricing the Saleen 281 will start at $42,281 and the 281SC will start at $51,102. I have not been able to find any current info on the GT500 yet.

The 281 puts out 330hp, the 281SC is at 435hp and the GT500 is at 450 but their is a lot of speculation that is is really closer to 500hp.
