Default Vacuum/Blower

Does anyone use a vacuum/blower combination to dry their car? If so, do you use it for the entire car.. or just the door jams, under the hood, crevices etc. And are there any negative aspects to blow drying your car like water spots or anything else...

And I feel stupid for asking this, but if you vacuum your car with a vacuum/blower combo and you then go to dry it with the blower.. wouldn't you theoretically just blow-out everything you sucked in (like in a shop-vac)? Essentially sand blasting your car? Or is there a seperate air bag for the blower?

What about this item..

Sometimes I blow off my car with the leaf blower. Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I know I am

Does it work just as good as hand drying, if not better? I was thinking about getting a leaf blower.. despite the fact that I don't have any trees lol.

I also use a leaf blower every time, after reading that tip somewhere. I still hand dry the whole car, but it sure helps force the water out of cracks and crevices so that you don't come back after an hour and see drips rolling down your car.

The dirt/sand/etc. is "trapped" in the vacuum...it just uses the "exhaust" port to blow. This is what the filter is for--trapping the crud, but allowing air to suck through the filter, and OUT of the vacuum. Same principle as your house vacuum--it doesn't blow dirt all over the house, does it? (at least I hope not )

I use the air compressors at work to blow mine off. The grills hold mad water on these cars.
I blew the temp lic plate right apart and off my car. Its like a semisealed paper plate.

Yea, leafblower is great. I started using one on my motorsickle a few yeas ago, bikes have nooks and crannies all over. Now I use it on my Mustang, not all over but the grille, brakes and wheels, wipers, body gaps, etc. Follow up with a blade and then microfiber towel. I like it better than compressed air because it moves more air volume, won't blow stuff off the car, and won't spit oil.
