I also use a leaf blower every time, after reading that tip somewhere. I still hand dry the whole car, but it sure helps force the water out of cracks and crevices so that you don't come back after an hour and see drips rolling down your car.

I do exactly the same thing...My wife says OMG... You are such an idiot and I get looks from my neighbors... but I don't care...

I hand dry my car, then get in drive around taking some sharp turns return to driveway, all excess water will be forced out by driving, and dry the rest.
