I don't think there's a "grace period." You gotta slap those puppies on!
If you get stopped by a cop and they run your VIN, and then the car comes back to plates you don't have attached, they'll give you a citation for not displaying your plates. But, that's only if you ever got pulled over in the first place.

I'd go with a plain chrome frame.

 

i have the same one disco and retro have from ebay. it is licensed by ford and has the new gt logo for 05-06 mustangs. it's really a good piece chrome plating is first class and it comes with factory colored lettering. mines red matchs great.

I'm with you. I haven't found one that I really like. I would like to find one that says Gone N 60 seconds. I've looked but know where=( Now I might beable to find someone who could make it. Also Bullitt looks killer??
