What about the frames at AutoZone that come with a smoked/tinted plastic cover? I imagine they are illegal in some states but I think tinted license plate covers would look sharp on a dark Mustang.

I got mine from WeatherTech - they're incredible and will last a lifetime. They also keep your license plate dry (waterproof) and the color you choose never gets tarnished by the weather because it's behind a clear cover...simply awesome - but expensive

Just ordered 1 for my wife's car.The car is Alloy Mettalic w/ pearl gold stripes. The license plate fame is gold w/black lettering. I have 2 daughters so we bought them a LOT of my little ponies when they were little. So.......top of frame says: HERE IS and bottom of frame says: MY LIL' PONY.

Sorry but the eBay ones just don't do it.
Get the official vintage ones, not the ones with the pre-05 script or the MUSTANG GT ones, which were cheaply made.
You want the ones with the 2 ponies along the bottom or nothing!
