mine was doing this, i told the first moron dealer i was using about it, and they said it was normal. this was smith-cairns ford mt kisco. so since they are retards, i sprayed some wd-40 in the lock thing on the trunk, and havent had it happen once since then. what is that saying like the 2 things a guy needs to know: if something doesn't move, that is supposed to, wd-40. if something moves that isnt supposed to move, duct tape!

Well, I tried the Silicone Lube spray thing and it worked then and there. But not the next day or since. I'll try the WD-40 thing next. Maybe the 2 springs that come down in front need to be stronger? Oh, and you know how people keep asking for a remote trunk release? Did they forget they have one on their keychain? Of course you have to turn the engine off for it to work...

are you sure you have to turn the engine off to get it to work? I think i've used it with the engine running.
