Default Rearview mirror deformed images?

1st time I used the little flip thing on the rearview mirror because the guy behind be lights were too bright. Once I did everything was blurred/deformed. I couldnt even consider using it that way, so I flipped back to daytime and made some distance between us.

Anyone else noticed this?

yeah but to me i was pretty well used to it. My truck also does it very badly so it was no big deal.

I had my dealership upgrade my stock mirror for the autodimming kind with the Homelink Garage Controls, Compas and Ttemp monitor in it.

It is a little cheaper if you do it without Homelink and Temp Monitor...

Not to be a smart a$$ - but whats the big deal. If its night time, you can't really make out images anyway - you're just seeing headlights to know if somebody is behind you. So is it blurring/distorting SO bad that you can't tell they are headlights??

Lol.
Its better described as more like a split down the middle of the glass. Its annoying tho.

Running FAST at night I'm to dayum busy looking out the front to notice anything behind!

I figure - if they think they are important they will flash their lights at me to get my attention... probably the red and blue ones!
