Default How long for dealer to fix fuel/throttle issues?

I have a 2006 V6 Mustang. It has the fuel fillup issue, and it has some throttle lag time, when I try to merge onto the freeway on a short on-ramp.

My question is, How many days has it taken for the dealer to fix these problems, and have they been able to resolve them completely?

I work and go to college 5 days a week, and I wanted an estimate of how long I would be without a car.
Thanks,

Doug

they should give you a loaner while your car is in for service if you request it....

Thanks, I didn't think of that. I will definetly ask them for a loaner car.

Throttle lag is normal with the throttle by wire on esp the automatics, and is also present with the manuals. Get a tune to remedy this.

Sorry, forgot to list that I have a Automatic transmission.
Do you guys have any idea if the dealer can fix the throttle lag or if the only solution is to have it tuned with a custom tuner?

Thanks,
Doug

The dealer won't fix the throttle lag, because to the dealer there is no issue, that's how they come. Get the fuel tank issue fixed, then get a custom tune from Doug at Bamachips or Brenspeed.

Ok thank you very much on the Tuner Info, I'll have to save up some money for that.

what you can do for quick merges is just press overdrive

Another great idea, just click off overdrive, Thanks! I think that will totally work for me, I'll have to try it.

Thanks,
Doug
