Spyder, getting back to car talk....being an auto why do you need a line lock. The quickest launches are normally when you flash the tourque converter instead of preloading it. Left foot on the brake should be enough. Help me with this one cause i like to know what makes me go faster. Everything else you have should build you a pretty impressive (deleted street) machine. I also have a tubular front K-member waiting to go in. Keeping the radiator support with sway bar due to being a streeter 90% of the time. I just put on adjustable rear arms last weekend getting prepared for gears and tourque converter. I have read the factory drive shaft, although heavy should be strong up to around 600hp. It is smooth so I will be waiting to change it. Do you have a sub frame connector? Looks like you are almost to the point of drilling and cutting out unnecessary metal to get weight down. Unlike you I prefer the sleeper look. Everything I do is under the skin. I Will fit drag radials on stock wheels when the time comes just so it isn't obvious.

the lin-locs are just so i can do a burnout without heating up the rear brakes. as far as the drag wheels they won't be on the car unless i'm headed to the track. bogart does not recommend using their wheels on the street so i will keep that to a minimum. if i could have found a narrow wheel that looks like the bullitts i wouldn't have bought the bogarts. the new wheels should lose about 100lbs. of rotating mass which should translate into about 3-4 tenths of a second. i ran 13.08@103 so far. next time out i will have lost 150-200 lbs off the car and added 30-40hp by adding l/t hookers and custom tune.i haven't had it on the dyno yet for a good tune. i have a little playing to do with converter lock up so there may be some E.T. there also. on that 13.08 pass the converter locked up at about 1200ft. and it picked up 3mph and almost 2 tenths. unfortunately i can't make it lock the same all the time without a custom tune. i'm thinking it should run mid-low 12's on drag radials. other than the hood there will be no signs my car has anything done to it. i should be able to surprise some LS1's.
