RE: new hood pins pics
i like them because when i wash the car i won't have to deal with hooking my sponge on them. also they are made of some aircraft composite sh*t that won't rust and the pins are anodized with stainless nuts. i hate rust!

I have to agree they look damn good! You and I were discussing hood pins when you found those, you got me thinking...those do look good. I am still partial to the '70's sytle. But i just found out that they came in different lengths. How do you like the Ram Air hood? do you notice any performance pro/cons? ,,Oh yea I ordered the honeycomb also,I can't wait to get it on the car. Was the install a no brainer?

RE: new hood pins pics
yeah the install for the rear panel was mindless just peel and stick. i couldn't tell any performance gains from the hood. there may be something at higher speeds aloowing more cold air to enter the filter but i didn't expect anything it just liked it and got it cheap on ebay. i don't like the looks of hood pins much but with the ram air hood there is a lot of pressure under the hood now and that caused the hood to start lifting especially on the drivers side at 70mph and up. i just didn't want to have my hood fly open one day on the highway or at the track doing 100mph. i saw a 05 with the 70's style locks and i liked that but a whole kit cost about $200 for the long style and the ones i used are only $80 a set. i liked the fact they were black composite with anodized and stainless hardware...no rust ever.
