i've never seen them on anything until i found them. they work great. i drove it to work today and the hood was flat and stable up to 90mph. too much traffic to go any faster and that was a quick blast to 90mph. normally it would start floating at 70-80mph. i'm really happy with them!

Even your GTR hood would flap at 90 MPH?

UGH. i'm going to have to get hood pins right after i get my car back.

yeah i think the problem is the fact that it is a functional ram air hood. i have had this problem on another car i had years ago. it had a front facing snorkel scoop. we added an airpan to seal up the carb inlat and it caused the hood to bubble up and shake really bad. my gtr seemed to only flap on the drivers side. exactly where the air exits the hood. i think it was building up pressure raising the hood, then the air would escape and the hood would drop again, seal up and start building pressure... and then repeat this over and over really fast. i don't think it would ever fly open but i know how f/glass stresses over time so i wasn't going to take any chances.
