i have put it in yesterday all in my gt'05
UDP+CAI (STEEDA)WITH PREDATOR AND AM THUNDER MUFFLER.
TODAY I HAVE DRIVING MY CAR FOR 2/3 TIMES TO 6000RPM AND AT THE LAST ONE I HAVE SEEN THE ENGINE LIGHT ON.
SOMEONES CAN LET ME KNOW WHY ?? AND WHICH IS THE WAY TO CLOSE THE ENGINE LIGHT ?
SHOULD I start again the tune ?
please let me know asap ......i'm in Italy and i have any Ford Dealer to check it( mustang doesnt'in european distribution) so i do this by myself , step by step.

In italy and you bought a Ford!?!? Ferrari! Anyways, does the light blink or does it stay on all the time?

It seems you may have an air leak or the predator tune is not correct for your car. Someone here may know if there is a way to turn the light off with the tuner. Many tuners have the ability to read codes and turn the light off.

You may also remove the negative battery cable for about 10 minutes and reconnect it. If there is still a problem, the light will come back on.

 

The predator tuner will read the engine codes and will allow you to turn them off. When you plug the tuner into the computor go to dianosgtics, and follow what it says to do.

I HAVE FOLLOW THE INDICATION 'INSTALL TUNE' AOD I HAVE FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS TO THE LAST, BUT WHAT IS IT THE 'MODIFY TUNE'

Please turn the CAPS OFF!!! What are the codes the predator is giving you? P1xxx? If you have those codes, those will help a lot in figuring it out.

Does the predator actually say "Air Leak" or does it say 'Lean Bank 1' or 'Lean Bank 2'?

Too much wine today.....but I think he said there was an air leak left and air leak right. Sounds like something is not bolted down tight enough.

 

I think he has error code P666 - caps lock stuck on.

 

LOL.

I gotta wonder if Ford has to tune the cars differently that go to europe and that maybe the predator is set up for a north american factory tune so it might not be compatible with the overseas tune.

We all know how finicky spanish oak can be.
