I'd suggest trying to sell it outright as-is, then go buy a new stick.
The manual cars also have different rearend gears, doubt if they added that in for that amount of money.

Converting from Auto to Manual is a very bad idea.
Like letting a drug user crash at your place for a few weeks...
Or loaning a friend money...
Or pissing on an electric fence!
NO NO NO!

Hmmm... well then i guess there is no other way now im thinking of exchanging my mustang as soon as they change the motor... because if i echanged it with another 2005 (manual ) at the dealer that would cost me alot triple the price of converting it into manual......

well thanks guys for helping me out..the auto tranny isnt bad at all i love it.but well you guys know that the manual is Fun.

Put converting it out of your mind. In fact never use those words again.

I wouldn't do it for all the several reasons above. Here's what I would do. Find a good speed shop that builds converters. Have them increase your stall speed. Then buy a SCT tunner from Brenspeed.com increase your shift points and it will fly!

if you are planning to change it in 08, i think you should just wait, considering that it is almost 2006, with means that the 07's are only a few months from being released, which means that the 08's are going to come out in a bit more than a year (if my logic is correct, correct me if i am wrong)

untill then, if you are looking for speed, i'd say go for the retune for now

PS: wow, now that 07 cobra's are gunna be released, the gt's are gunna look kind of weenie compared to them, and how does that leave my car? as a pony with a broken leg being chased by a glue truck
