Default Rearview Mirror Problem??

I notice my rearview mirror is somewhat distorted when in night-time mode. Something like a bubble distortion when you view the mirror from left to right.

It also seems that the day-to-night flip switch does not click entirely like it should. I have to somewhat "force" it to go into night mode.

I plan to take it to the dealer to see if they can fix it, but has anyone else had this issue?

Thnx

night time mode just ****s with the light and gives you two different angles, one of your back seat, one of the cars behind you. I prefer not to use it and just deal with headlights

I noticed this also and made a psot about it. Try using it the opposite way. Put it in the night position during day, then adjust the mirror so you see normal again. Them when comes night time, flip it to day. Seems better. Ive never had a car with this issue, other fords have been fine.

Thanks for the posts. Since I am not alone in this I am going to run it by the dealer and see if they have a solution. I will repost if I find out anything useful.

Maybe not, but it's nice to watch them disappear into a dot on the horizon. [sm=shades.gif]
