Smell the fresh paint!

RE: Smell the fresh paint!
It came out real, real nice, gloves. I'm usually of the opinion that less is more and don't care for a lot of mod work, but what you've done is just right. Great car!
WHat's the link to the ponybuilder site again? I wanna see a ducktail on my wife's Tungsten pony V6. Her birthday is in March...

OK, seriously guys.
I got this issue where the 3M tape didn't stick this down all the way because the tape didn't go that far.
The material it's mad out of is flexible like rubber. I have a 2-Ton epoxy that
would hold it but, was just wondering if there is a better glue than something
that would rip the steel out of my car before removing the scoop?
There are no plans to remove it, probably going to keep it there for ever but
if it's something i can get at the local parts store. That would make things easy.

Gloves: There is a silver one on the forum (forget where, but under "mirrors"). What a sweet look that one has with the mirrors painted, you'll see what I mean. It won't be so noticeable on my Black GT but I'll sleep better at night. As Traken says you sand them. It's just plastic. I'm gonna start sanding mine tonight (I've done a lot of body and paint work over the years although not my career). I suspect I'll start with 80 or 100grit dry, then progress to 110, 220, 320 wet. Then adhesion promoter, then epoxy primer. Wet sand the following day with 400 wet then my friend with the spray booth will finish. Oh make sure you cover mirror glass in masking tape then duct tape over that.

fairlane292, sounds like a lot of work. 2 hours of sanding + painting?
I think before i consider this car finished it will have to have silver mirrors.
Allfyre, it used all the tape it came with so where do i get more?
