undercarriage sprayed?
do some research. i have a friend who does body and fender work and he told me never to do it unless your are trying to reduce interior sound. something about that stuff trapping moisture between it and the factory paint causes rust. this was a few years ago so maybe there is new stuff now that doesn't have this problem. just hate to see you start rusting next year:0
oh and Ziebart is bullsh*t... i have owned two trucks that had that done and both were loaded with rust in 5 years!!!

i had mine done. i also had the sound barrier stuff sprayed in the back so it quieted down the loud *** MAC Mufflers...i like it i think it helps..cuts down road noise as well and HELPS protect the underbody from rust
I'm not a fan of undercoating...great for 5+ years, but then so is the factory coating...after a while it tends to dry our and rust underneath, or worse yet, when applied it can clog up factory drains causing trapped water/dirt(salt)...
On the old 65 gal my neighbor gave me (link here: rusty gal ) I used POR-15 paint after spending what seemed like forever stripping all the old undercoating off(yes it had rust under the undercoat) and gotta say that is some incredible paint. I intend to use POR-15 tank sealer INSIDE my door bottoms and trunklid and rocker panels(any crimped/pinchwelded areas that point downward- these always rust first). Their tank sealer flows really well and is the same 'moisture cured urethane' as the paint, but with the thinner paint hope to por it in, jack car fore/aft with drains taped, then pour out by pulling tape- this should seep into the crimps and permanently prevent any moisture from getting in- let alone dirt/salt...brushing a thin line along top of exposed crimp under the door will prevent any from finding its way in there too...I think they have a clear paint I will use there to 'hide' it...if paint gets a chip/rust starts under it will blister right away- undercoating looks same until a large patch of rust causes a big chunk of undercoat to fall off...
Last thing I will do is after POR paint, and 'tie coat primer'(other paints wont stick to por15...) I want to use a bit of roll-on bedliner over the paint in areas like behind tires where stone chips are likely, and especially the crimped top lip of the rear wheel opening- that area looks to me like a sure bet as a place for rust to start...
