jack stand points
I'd be interested in seeing pics specifically showing the points being used with a floor jack. After looking under the car and not seeing any place where I'm comfortable using my floor jack I've resorted to using the standard scissors jack (aka the knuckle buster) in the notched areas indicated in the owners manual, or a buddies lift when the scissors jack isn't sufficient. I was told by Ford to not use the rear diffrential as a jacking point (although I have to say we've always used this as a jacking point on the classic 'Stangs).
Yea if anybody can get some pics up that would be great...i have been using ramps but im sure at some point that i will need to use the stands and i just want to see where everybody is with this.

these pics should be idiotproof, so we can finally close this thread.
enlarge them and you will see the red arrows pointing to where to place the "jackhead".

not to prolong this tang, but thats the points i use for my floor jack, so if thats where i have my floor jack... what i am looking for is where is the best place for my jack stands, not my floor jack
...or if thats the points you use for your jack stands, then where do you lift the car with you floor jack to be able to use those points for your jack stands
is that a confusing enough way to ask..haha

I'll keep my eye on this thread and post pics of mine with the jack AND jack stands in place when I get the rear facia back from the dealer. I dropped it off yesterday so hopefully I'll have it back in a week or so.
I'll also snap a few naked pics of the facia-less rear end, and on of the MOSTER 20's against an old '79 TRX wheel

OK, installed my Pypes H pipe yesterday so I took the liberty to post the actuall jacked up pics. Keep in mind that the Saleen side skirts cover up the stock jack points, so you won't see the same points that were pic'd above. Hope this helps:

Also for those that want to see a bare naked 'Stang

And if you're wondering - the off road H sounds pretty killer with the Saleen axel back system
Very throaty, no major drone - just sounds like a performance car should
