I had a problem with finding a place too. I ended up placing them on the rear jacking notches and in front near the radiator support/frame area. My stands have a v-groove which makes it tough to find a good spot.

look under your car, maybe a couple inches away from the wheelwells(towards the "side" middle of the car) . If you still can't find it I'll take some pics.

Damn man - I just took my car off the stands about an hour ago before I read this, or I would have snapped some picks. I only had the rear up though.

There is thick metal bracket where the rear control arms mount to the frame (just in front of the wheel) that you can use to jack up from, then just outside and a bit in front of that near the outer edge of the underbody is a spot that has a "doubled up" section of steel that is about 1/4 thick total - that is the point that I used for my stands. There is also a theaded section built into the steel frame very near this point where you could screw in a bolt (looks to be a 3/8" nut thread) - I guess if you have bolt in stands ??

If you're still in doubt in a couple weeks, let me know and I'll snap some pics when I put it back up in the air to reinstall the rear fascia. Had to take it off today so I can take it to the body shop for warranty paint repair [:@]

On a side not - 20" rims with 275 tires on them look LARGER THAN **** when you get them off and roll them around the garage

On the rear, use the axle for your jack stands.

Placing jack stands under the axle is the best place to put them. Using the axle to lift the car with a jack will not hurt anything.

+1 - the forward control arm bracket is the safest spot to put them. I have the roush body kit and it does suck. Have to angle the jack right next to the tire and 'scooch' it over to get there when I'm by myself.

EDIT - bet the car looks interesting without the rear fascia....HMMM - maybe a pic?
