Well the time has come, the pony went in last night to SilverState MotorSports to get my Vortec installed. These guys come highly recomended from Shelby (neighbor) for SC's and Turbos. It took Vortec 8 weeks to build this system cause there so busy so the antisipation has been killin me...
It should be done by Friday. I'll post up the Dyno's before and after.

Got to tell me how much that install is and if they are as cool as Shelby thinks they are.

I need to find a good place to install mine.

 

I'll be the first to say it: DON'T LET YOUR WIFE/GIRLFREIND/WHATEVER DRIVE IT.

 

Gloves: I actually went to Shelby first but they couldn't get to it till late January. Silverstate Motorsports is there overflow guys and specialize in Ford applications, its in good hands...


All said and done it'll run me about $1200.[]

mauiboy, next time if you need any work done give us a call at combination motorsports out at the speedway in the same complex as silverstate. we also work on fords. i just did a procharger p1sc kit on a 05 auto. also i just picked up myself a 06gt last week and have my procharger on the way. also doing gears, headers, full exhaust, suspension,sub frames, tune. all within the next two weeks. not to take anything away from silverstate mike is very good. but if you or anybody you know needs work done give us a try. thanks robert b. 702-798-8504.

 

Hey Robert, thanks for the info, i'll come check you out. Mike specializes in SC and turbos for the Ford but I still have lower control arms, springs and gages to put on...

VORTECH isn't leagal in CA? WTF?
Can anyone confirm this and why?

 

I find that hard to believe, especially since Vortech is located in CA.
