Default Radar detector mount

I found this neat little mount for my radar detector that clips onto the rear view mirror. It lets me get rid of those annoying suction cups that always seem to lose their grip. I got it at Reliant for only $9.00.

I'm actually looking for a good/quality radar detector...what brand is yours? Been told that a wireless r/d just can't work as well as a "plug-in" r/d. Have you experienced any probs with yours? Does it do what it should, etc?

Any feedback would be appreciated, never needed one until now.

thx

I couldn't be happier with my detector. It's a cordless Escort Solo S2. It gives plenty of advanced warning and has saved me from getting several tickets. I frequently travel a twisty high speed four lane road where the CHP likes to park around certain corners and without my detector I would never know to slow down before encountering the patrol car.

I don't know it the corded ones are any better, but this one suits me just fine.
