What have people found is the best performance part that they have got for there car for under $1000.

Yup! You can probably change your gears out too and stay under $1000.

I personally like Eibach springs, gears, and some sort of body stiffner. (subframe connectors or strut tower brace) This usually improves launch and lateral G ability.

i'm with 05vert gears and tune definitely. cai if it comes with a tuner but for 300 bucks and 5-10hp you may be better off getting pulleys instead. i installed my steeda cai later after i already had a flash tuner and even with the new a/f corrected it didn't make any noticeable difference except sound.

CAI and tune...buying the gears and tlok are under 1000, but the install with cost you more (800 at my local shop)

what about long tube headers and better cats. i heard that makes a world of difference.

maybe with a canned tune, not a dyno tune. Those are kinda expensive
