Best performance mod
A whole bunch of VTECH stickers and a wing << Always adds performance to the little ricer cars, why not a stang? j/k
Seriously, Intake and Exhaust mods are your best bet. These help your engine 'breathe' better resulting in increase hp. After upgrading for speed and performance, don't forget to upgrade your brakes. Good performance brakes will help you slow down faster and will take longer for the brakes to get that 'spongy' feeling from getting too hot.

Nitrous is do-able for under 1k, and it will add a considerable amount of hp.
Aside from N20, I say for 1k you could do gears, CAI, mufflers, and maybe a tune, for an excellent bang for your buck.

Not a big fan of the nitrous. Unless you have a kit that will phase it in with the rpm, and i don't think you can get those kits for under a grand. At least not with the bottle warmer and everything. i had nitrous on my truck and it was fun but i want some mods i can use right off the line without smoking the tires.
