I'm about 6'2" and it's a comfortable fit for me. I let a friend take her for a drive, he's a couple of inches taller than me and he said the same thing. Go to a dealership and sit in one, see how it feels.

I'm 6ft and I have the seat all the way back and the steering wheel all the way upwards in our 05 and fit very comfortably that way. I did get a chance to sit in a 04 while we were looking and OMG it was too small for me! We are big people and lot of the smaller cars we couldn't get into at all. But we were able to sit in the 05 Mustang, the Nisson 350Z and the Toyota Camry comfortably except the Camry's front windshield top was in line with my eyes and would have had to scrunch down to keep from getting cross eyed. Any smaller then those we just couldn't get behind the steering wheel at all!

I'm glad to hear all this - judging by different auto review sites - the new Mustang has more legroom passanger & driver than a Mercedes S Klasse or an AUDI A8 - which are some of the roomiest cars here in Europe.
I'm about 6'3" and around 290 in weight and take a look at the little VW Golf II I drove till now....

If I managed to drive this little bugger [more or less comfortably since I got used to scratching the wheel with my legs] ..... I can't wait to see how I fit in the Mustang GT I'm ordering in a couple of weeks.

So I guess room wouln't be an issue, ya'll say .....

I am 6'3" at 220lbs. When I got my first mustang (2000 v6), it took a while to adjust to the tighter fit. I short of need to angle my legs because my hands would hit my knees when turning the steering wheel. Now that I am in my '06 GT, I would say there is more leg room, but less head room; however, I still fit in it a lot better than the 2000. You shouldn't have any problems.

EDIT: Shouldn't - not should.

You should be fine on leg room. I'm 6'6" and fit comfortably.

I'm 5'11" and in most Japanese cars I've had the seats ALL the way back.
Not so in the 2005 GT. I could bring it back so far I wouldn't be able to reach the steering wheel! Plus I have the seatback reclined a bit. I think it goes about parallel with the B-Pillar. Those headrests call for a bit more recline than usual. That gives you even more room, but becuae we don't have telescoping steering wheels you can't go too far back!
Don't think about putting anyone behind you if you're over 5'1"! While the person riding shotgun could move their seat up to allow for 3 people in the car, it's hard to drive with your knees against the dash!

I am about 6'0 with long legs and I was wondering is there enough leg room for someone my size? Or will it be a real tight squeeze?
I'm 6 foot and 280lbs with long legs, this new Mustang has tons more leg room than in the past. You'll fit no problem. Heck if my fat **** can fit, most anybody can.
