Waiting for my 06 mustang to arrive and trying to find the best stripe kits...
Does anyone have any good pics, sellers, or any info on stripe kits?
Seen some in 8", 10", with/without pin stripes down the side, etc....
Or one big one down the middle?

Here's a tip! What ever you buy, try to make templetes from you purchased set and buy a bulk roll of 3M graphics tape as you will be replacing pieces from time to time. They don't hold up to scuff/scratches to well. Still cheaper then $1000 for paint and you can change the theme later. I have strips now but can pull them of and go with the BOSS look for $200.

I did my graphics myself with the 3m and they have been on for almost a year. I pinstriped the sides with 1/8 inch roll of tape.

What about having them painted on. What are people seeing for prices?

 

I had mine painted on, the cheapest quote (the one i went with) was $1200.00

was $1,000. $200 x each price (Bumper, hood, roof, trunk, bumper)

I had a few other things installed and painted at the same time that killed my bank
account, so it ended up being a lot more but MAN IS IT SWEET. Right when you think
just having a mustang was the biggest a grin can get, ya go and get a set of BAD ***
Stripes and the smile stretches further!

 

did you have them scuff all the whole hood, roof, trunk, etc. or did they only scuff the areas being painted. i just want do avoid being able to feel an edge where the stripes meet the car. a guy quoted me at $1800 to scuff all the surfaces so there was no edge. About $1000 with the edge.
