V6 dual exhaust help needed
ok well i got gt takeoff mufflers for my car, but it seems like i live in a city filled wih muffler shops who cant figure anything out, some have told me i cant even put dual exhaust on my car and one told me i had to buy the gt bumper and couldnt cut mine. lol.
anyways heres the deal, i have an 06 V6 and two GT mufflers, what else do i need to get, H-pipe?? X-pipe??, how much extra tubing etc.??? if anyone has done this yourself and could help me out on how to do it i can go explain it to the guy at midas, because he said he couldnt find an h0pipe for it or an x, so any help is greatly appreciated. and if anyone can tell me how much all this should approximately cost that would be great too.
thanks alot guys

Hey prozac,
Get a GT pipe for the driver's side (ford dealer)
Get two muffler brackets (hangers) (ford dealer---expensive!!)
Cut the whole in the bumper yourself (box knife, dremel tool)
get a Magnaflow X-pipe, 2.5" stainless from eBay (new, about $75)
Take the parts to a muffler shop and have them fabricate the short piecies you'll need, and you'll be good to go!
Afixer posted great pics and the details---I just tried to duplicate what he did!
