Got My Car Back!!!
As you probably all have read, i sent my car away for 4 days to get it lowered, and it took 4 days because they had to take my stock springs out, mesure them, and make the new springs becasue i'm the "pilot" for their new springs... I got it back today and it looks awesome... i'd take pics but its dark out and the ones i did take (even in lights) turned out bad... pics to come tommorw

RE: Got My Car Back!!!
Very kewl. More info please. Any alignment issues? Rear axle shift any? What kind of drop in front and rear? Know what the spring rate is? Do you think you are going to have to replace the shocks/struts? How is the ride? Can't wait to see the pics. Always interestd in new products.

RE: Got My Car Back!!!
well most of you have already read about this in other places i posted... but heres the deal
My neighbor works for a racings parts/whatever place and they got a deal with a company called Road Magnets who makes springs for dewalt and black and decker... and NASA... so they're pretty top knotch. They also do cars. They dont have a new line of springs out for any cars like 2000+ and they wanted to make a new line. My neighbor called me up and asked if i wanted to get my car lowered for free... so hell yes i did lol. Now, the springs i have now are not the final product, still a one of a kind "prototype" kinda thing... i was anxious to get my car back so they didnt make the tweek they're going to have in the final springs which i'll get when they make them... but
i have a 1.2" drop in the front, 1" in the back (on the final product which will be powder coated to prevent rust, they will have 1.2" all around)
I have no idea what the spring rate is lol...
I do not have to replace the shocks and struts becasue of the way they designed the springs... i think it rides nicer now.
Ride is smooth as stock on a straigh road, but on twisty roads it stays much more level and hugs the curves much tighter at higher speeds... and i'v just been tinkering around today. I'll update if i notice anything new.
Oh and the best part, i can still go over speed bumps, dips in the road, i can get up my driveway (worse then a damn speed bump) etc etc... its a good height...
Pics to come tommorow!
