Any recommendations on a clutch upgrade for 06 GT.I am getting ready to install my long tube headers and figured that to be a good time to change clutch while exhaust was out of the way.I am a little concerned about the stock clutch with the addition of the Kenne Bell supercharger I just ordered.-Should I be? Thanks

 

Shouldn't be but why size kit did you go with. My friend adam blew hs clutch out with the 8 psi kit. He did have an udated clutch that was shimmed wrong anyway but you are going to be putting a lot more strain on it with the KB. Plus, with LT's you have to remove them to replace the clutch so It's best to replace it now cause it's a pain after the lt's are in. I have a clutchmaster but there are lots out there so just search the internet.

I have heard nothing but good things about the centerforce clutch's and they are tried and proven.

i just got my centerforce in today but i have to be easy on it for 500 miles so i am not real sure about it yet but all the mechanics where i work say it's the best but a clutch is a clutch if you remember you get what you pay for.

 

The Clutch Master stage4 is a great clutch.Im currently running one in my 05GT with 500 hp and there have been no problems.The clutch is a 10 puck ceramic,and only needs about a 100 mile break in.

 

hows the pedal pressure with the centerforce compared to stock?
