I got an 06 GT and couldn't get more than half a tank in on my first fillup. After reading some ideas here I tried another gas station but that didn't help either. I flipped the nozzle upside down and got the tank full.

I got news for ya, I have an '06 and it does the same darn thing. Found that if I just fill her nice and slow (half a squeeze on the nozzle) she's OK, otherwise it'll continually click off. It hasn't been a big enough hassle to take her back.

Best fix is simply to turn the nozzle 90 degrees counterclockwise and it will fill just fine. I've only had problems everynowandthen....so I don't know why it doesn 't do it all the time. But i don't even bother anymore, wherever i fill up i just turn the nozzle sideways (or even upsidedown if i can) and it fills up fast. I know that sounds like a hassle, but after a few fillups it becomes automatic.
I just don't trust a dealership to mess around with something like the fuel tank.....thats just inviting more problems. Plus, I've heard of ppl getting their tanks replaced and it ends up doing the same thing again.[:@]

Tank #2 and #3 only would go to 3/4 tank then shutoff and have a little extra for me on the entrance like it was overfull.
