Default Stock internals

I'm about to install a Saleen Series VI supercharger into my stock 05 GT. I am looking to couple it with a Steeda CAI intake as well for what should be close to 400rwhp. But the recent blown engines at 400hp thread has me looking to upgrade my stock engine internals before I move forward. Just want to know a few things. First, how big a job is it to pull the 4.6 out and start doing component replacement? Secondly, I'd like some input as to what kind of upgrades I should consider (part, brand names, websites I can order from, etc.) I already know I want to put in a forged crankshaft and high strength connecting rods.....but I'm unsure how much further I should go. Any advice would be appreciated.
As far as outflow, I'm looking at putting in a Borla catback system to insure my added induction power is given some additional exhale room. But I'm not considering aftermarket headers.....I don't want a race car.

Default RE: Stock internals

I know Ford has rated the stock engine components for upwards of 450rwhp.....but I'm not willing to take any chances.
