Do you feel it?
For some reason I just dont feel like I feel the speed so much in my 05 GT. What I mean by this is if I puch it all the way to 80 it just dosn't feel like it THROWs me back, but it is so much faster than other cars, like a VW gli and Merceded slk230, that really make you feel like you are getting planted to the seat. Sometimes I would like to feel the speed more, some peole come in my car and think it is slow becuase they dont get pinned back hard, but in reality it is fast. Do any of you feel the same. I plan on getting Steeda springs within the near future. Maybe I a will get some more snap with those. Do any of you feel the same or do I just not feel it because I am driving?
i think it might be because the size of the car or something, because i know when i am going 100 in my car it feels like i am just breaking the speed limit a bit, but when i am in one of my friend's smaller japanese cars going to same speed it feels a whole lot faster
I think the size does play a big role but i think its also the seats in the mustang. You kind of sit on them and there a lot more squishy than more sports car oriented so i think you feel being pushed back in your seat more in a stiffer seat. I dont know maybe its just me[8D]
I don't know man........... I most definately 'feel it'.
Aren't you the guy who said you felt bad everytime you pushed the engine? Try giving it to your friend, I'm sure they won't care [8D], and sit in the passenger seat. I promise the back of your head will be buried in the headrest.

Yeah, maybe you got a lemon man, cause every time I punch it I'm back against that seat, and so is any passenger. I have to ease the throttle sometimes if I dont want to scare certain passengers. Wait what am I saying.....I never ease the throttle! Pedal down and and the windows up.
i think as the driver you dont really "feel it" as much as the passanger also...because when i was in the seat of my friend's g35 while racing...i was definitly "feeling it" and by that i mean "feeling like i was going to die" ...and he wasnt going more than 150...lol
also, when i had my friend who is also used to racing in my passenger seat...he "felt it" ...well i assumed he "felt it" when he started saying "i think we are going to die if you go faster" (i told him to put his seat belt on)

If im just cruising i'll be on the highway and be going over 80Mph and it feels like i'm doing 65-70, however when hard on the gas you can defintily feel it because usually I have to find the remote for my radio in the back seat.
I agree. I have had several old school muscle cars including a 69 mach1 and I feel it! It does diminish as you get use to the car. I think your cheeck muscle get stronger from the G's. [&:]
