Nice blue car. I do think this sscoop looks a bit small for the huge hoods we have. Anyone have a pic of the #D Carbon scoop?
Thanks for the pic of the blue car! I'm just thinking about something a bit larger.

Check out Gurilla133's car, they have the 3D Carbon. Think I'm going with the Xenon's, not sure if I want to spend an extra $200 just to get it painted, or try doing it myself?

Humboldt Stang, can you recall the dimensions of the Xenon?

Thanks

Concerns about the Shaker

1. What’s keeping water from getting through both air filters and into the engine? There has been some major down pours in which I've had to drive in, not many but still a concern.
2. How much actual additional hrs power are you actually getting, is it a good enough reason to cut up the hood?
3. Trust me, I like the look of the Shaker, just can't validate spending the cash when I could get a non functional that looks good as well?

Those that have the Shaker, please don’t take this as a slam, but educate me instead!

The Shaker is well designed to prevent water from getting all the way to your throttle.

ANY time you have a functional scoop you have to deal with water.

I run my car through a touchless car wash and have run in some HEAVY Rain Storms with no problems at all concerning Water getting into the air system.

As far a performance, it is difficult to measure as the Shaker is a "RAM AIR" system, so you have to be moving at least 40mph before you gain true benifit from having it. I personally definately noticed an immediate improvement in acceleration above 40mph and better milage.

Above that - if you combine it with a Cold Air Intake, you are garenteed the coolest air possible without an intercooler getting to your CAI Filter.

And.. it looks like nothing else out there... Everyone notices a Shaker in the middle of your hood!

Bye the way... adding a NON functional Scoop NOT ONLY gives you nothing for performance, it actually degrades performance by adding to DRAG on your car.

Is there any adjustments I should make with the Predator Tuner to compensate for the increased airflow? I see in the install instructions it has you blocking the airbox inlet.

Picks of Roush Scoops?

Gloves,

I'm assuming your hood is functional. How's it handle rain?
