Default Exhaust Wrap Smoking?

Quick question for those of you that have used exhaust heat wrap on LT headers. I recenting was running my car right after installing headers and once the car was on for a minute I started getting a little bit of smoke with the hood open. It wasn't shooting out fast or anything it just kinda looked like a low stream from the headers. The Driver's side was doing it more so then the pass side. Was just wondering if this is normal for LT headers or the exhaust wrap to smoke some after a new install. BTW I'm pretty sure I have the headers bolted down tight casue I torqued everything just as the service dvd shows and used new gaskets. Thanks~

Yes it is normal. If cacthes on fire then you have a problem. How long has it been smoking?

I just installed it all. Just started smoking after being on for like 2 minutes, then I ran the car around the block a couple of times to see if it just has to burn in but it was still smoking but not really as bad.
