They finished deleting my stock spoiler, back emblem, and keyhole in the trunk today.

I got the ducktail, I'm going to install in on Saturday, any tips before drilling 8 holes in the back... i'm nervous, haha..

A part of me wanted to scream after seeing those holes.. then I looked down [at your sig].

 

did you do it yourself Gloves?

How are is it to line it up perfectly? or did you/they get it right the first time?

 

I am not an expert but i was able to do it myself. follow instructions carefully and it will look great. Great company and great products. they take their time producing instructions. the ducktail spoiler is the 4th cdc product that I have purchased and I am very happy

 

I talked the paint/body shop into putting it on, because it had to be
painted and striped anyhow. I think they did it right the first time.
It's no where near as scary as drilling the holes in my hood. That
had a very limited margin of error. this, if all else faile and you have
holes all over your trunk lid, get some serious epoxy and glue it in place.

nobody will ever know.

body shop also installed my rear window scoops. ALSO BAD ***!

From the looks of it... it aligns VERY nice on my trunk...

Only thing I'm not sure about:
It covers the center break light. ( I hated that stupid thing anyhow )
but I'm not sure how legal it is to do that in CA. I haven't been
pulled over yet, but I'm sure it'll take some pissed off bad-mood cop
to ticket me for that. You know, the same bastard that'll ticket me
for not having my front plate on.

I think i got a good deal on the removal of my spoiler.

They welded, and grinded down my holes. Can't tell they were there.

Then they repainted the trunk lid. All this cost, $200.

I thout it was outragous at first until i found out all the work they put into it.

 

It cost $600 for the spoiler, keyhole and emblem delete..
