5% is cool looking, but that's like limo tint, or drug dealer tint I live in MA, the limit is 35% but I do not think that's dark enough. I have 20%, and have had cars with 20% for years with no problems with the law, even when pulled over for speeding...

Yeah i've got 5% on my black 06 and it looks really good, despite the fact that 35% is the law in GA. one thing i've always found to be true with tint is always go darker than you thinnk you want. I had 15% on a lexus last year and i found myself wondering if it was getting lighter or if i was just so used to it that it seemed like it was. If you are thinking about tinting, go darker than you think you want i love the 5% on the car. it looks really sporty and i love being able to look at people and them not be able to see me!!!

Sorry no pics, but I have 35% on the side windows, and 20% on the quarter and back window. When I was living in Mass the law was 35% and at the time (don't know if it is still true) they would measure the tint using a caliper type meter and since there was no way for them to use it on the quarter and back window I was able to get away with the 20% on those. I'm in RI now and they do not allow any tint but I have gotten away with it for now. RI sets up mobile check stations on the side of the road and they pull cars over if they see tint and a RI license plate...they suck.

I just got to go see my car at the dealership (still wrapped up in plastic) they are going to tint it tomorrow and I get to pick it up..yahoo!!!! It has been a long long long wait...June 20 2005 is when I ordered it...after wanting one for a year prior to that. I spoke to the dealership and they said that they are going to tint it 20% on quarter windows and back and 35% on the side windows... I will try to post a picture or two when I get it so you all can see what it looks like with those %s. Thanks again for all of your inputs.

um why would a drug dealer tint out his car with 5%... that just gives cops a reason to pull you over. A drug dealer wouldn't want to draw attention to his car.
