Headers
I have Hooker long tube headers and I was wondering about the fourth hole. There are three sensors on the original exhuast but the long tube header have four holes. Also the stock studs do they really have to come out? Please anyone that has done this install give me all the insight you have detail by detail. Thanks.
p.s. what foot pound should the motor mounts be torque to?

studs do have to come out. i tried to use them but they just wont work. you will need a 5mm socket for that. also a 13mm gear wrench will be your new best friend for this install. you should have 4 o2 sensors on your car...at least mine did. check to see if you got the extensions for them also. i didn't and took2 weeks to get them from hooker. i have heard of people waiting for 2 months for them.
you also will have to replace the motor mounts. this is not told by any of the long tube header manufacturers but the stock ones must come out. they are too spongy and allow the engine to move so much it leans on the steering shaft and locks up the steering on hard right hand turns...i know this because i tried to do it without replacing the mounts and almost wrecked on an exit ramp. prothane billet/urethane mounts can be had on ebay for about $100 steeda are $200 i think.
