Default light on instrument panel

today i was driving on the highway going at about 100-110, it was pretty much in a strait-ish line, there was just a bit of a curve to it, and this light started to flash at me, i am not too sure what it means and i could not feel any change in the driveability of the car. as soon as i slowed down it stopped flashing, but i am still wondering what it means.

thanks

It was telling you to slow down.

That's the check engine light. Check your owner's manual.

If it flashed , you had a missfire...

Hook a preditor to your port and pull the diag codes... that will tell you why it flashed your CE light.

eck i dont have a preditor or xcal

is it fine to drive it without doing this check, considering that it is not flashing anymore (and i drove the car a good amount after i saw the flashes and it was alright)

It's alright to drive it as long as it doesn't come on again. If it comes on again, get it checked out. If it would have been a real problem, the light would have stayed on. it was probably just a misfire.
