Default '06 Mustang and known problems, Research.

My dad is a tow truck driver and has towed 13 '06 mustangs in the last few weeks (3 were accidents but the others had problems). My boss is looking to buy an '06 mustang 4.6 l V8 and wants to be sure its worth the investment. If any of you know the current problems with the '06 please post them. I know some are have fuel injection issues but other than that I'm not sure.

No problems here, other than a bum battery they are replacing. Great car!

Have had absolutely no problems with my '06 GT; It's a great car and I highly recommend it!

Zero problems here... Only complaint is the noisy live/solid rear axle negotiating rough roads. No rattles either!! We'll worth it given the bang for the buck factor.

no problems on the 05' for 4000 miles at all- perfect

no problems on the 06' but only have 25 miles on it in 3 months- garaged since day 1 (its winter)

i have to admit, driving it home from the dealership, the 05' felt better & more responsive- but like i said, its only got 25 miles on it so far

I gotta '05 GT with 16600 miles and there have been 2 problems. The gas tank needed to be replaced and the radio needed to be replaced.
