2006 Saleen
So I recently purchased a new 2006 Saleen, and I want to get the most out of it...
So what performance enhancements can i buy (airfilter, etc.) that will help the RWHP from 375 (is what o hear) to over 410 or 425? All the while NOT voiding any part of the warranty?
Thanx in advance!
Nick

Change your pulleys to up the boost and re-tune. You should be able to get quite a bit more out of that supercharger. I believe the Saleen already has a cold air intake and a high performance exaust. So that is going to be where you need to work. Any other changes will only give you minimal gains and may actualy reduce your current power.

Get a tune the Saleen tune is a joke. I had the Saleen tune for about a day. You will not believe the difference with just a tune. If you get a pulley your going to need injectors. At this point you probably don't have a warranty.

I believe the correct pronunciation is Say Leen
On the pulleys you can always adjust the size of the pulley to adjust the amount of boost you get from your supercharger. There are guys on here pushing 8 psi which puts them at 470 ish That is good power but it is also dangerous power with the low end trq you get out of a twin screw. I believe the stock pulley gives you 4-5 psi. The power you are talking about should be attainable at 6-7 psi which probably wouldn't be too hard on your engine or blower. You will also have to re-tune. Safe power is never a guarantee. I imagine that what the Saleen comes with out of the box is what they have tested tried and true as safe. Anything over that is probably going to carry some risk. Up to you man.

I have no idea about any of the power increase options you guys are talking about though for your car, sorry. [&:]
