RE: Looking for pics of Ram air hood
I know the owner of a body shop and he is a close friend and for him to paint on my stripes and do it professionaly, including wetsanding, clear it and all the labor I will end up paying around a grand and that is a friend discounted price so for $300 you are probably getting stripes just sprayed on and thats it.

Well my neighbor just had some custom racing stripes with a pinstripe outline added to his new Charger and the same shop charged him $400 (extra $100 for the pinstripe outline) and they look phenomenal (and quite correct)! Sorry you can't find someone to do it that cheap where you live, but it's reality here! Sounds like someone has way too much money if they are spending $2500 on racing stripes.

300 for painted stripes is a joke.
There is so much labor involved, including taking off the bumper covers, sanding and clearcoating.
You will minimum pay 1000 but probably more like 2000-2500 to do it correctly.
I would let nobody put a 300 dollar paint job on my new GT

Okay. I'm not trying to argue with you guys... I just know that Matt's Charger stripes look great (even at close inspection) and they only cost $400 (with the outlining). I guess whats probably not visible is how long they will stay looking that way. So on that note, I see MANY stangs on this forum with racing stripes... is everyone here spending $1000+ on them, or are most people doing the vinyl stripes?
